One-Day Workshop

On Sunday19th October, join us at Blackhorse Workshop (just a 10-minute walk from Blackhorse Road Station) for a hands-on day of creativity, sound, and craft.

From 10:30am to 3:00pm, you’ll build your own pair of unique, high-quality speakers – just like the ones pictured.

All the materials will be pre-cut and ready for assembly. You’ll glue and screw the cabinets together, fit the drivers, horns, and pre-built crossovers, and by the end of the day, you’ll walk away with a complete pair of speakers built by your own hands.

The components come from our archive of carefully chosen parts, selected to deliver a compact yet powerful audio footprint – perfect for home listening.

Bring a friend along to share the day, and take breaks to enjoy music, food, and drinks from the on-site café.

You’ll take your speakers home at the end of the workshop (or we can arrange delivery for the cost of postage & packaging).

And if you need something to power your new speakers, we’ll have the Yamaha MA2030 Power Amplifier available at a special discounted Makers Day price.

*Please note the speaker that you will build on the day will have some visible screws on the side this is so you can take them away with you on the day, avoiding having to leave them clamped to dry over night.
