The OBJ.JBL.RH design reimagines the classic vintage speaker form through a contemporary lens, blending the timeless aesthetic of mid-century design with innovative sound engineering. We started with components of the JBL.Control.47 super effects ceiling speaker, the coaxial elements are split to individually amplify both high and low frequencies, enhancing sound clarity across the spectrum. 

This separation allows the design to focus on delivering a more precise and defined auditory experience. 

The form itself embraces the iconic look of vintage speakers, while introducing modern refinements. The soft, terracotta pink horn made from recycled cork serves as a striking nod to the 1950s color palette, offering a balance of retro charm and contemporary style that draws attention without overpowering the overall design.

JBL Control 47 is known for its ability to produce clear and balanced sound across the frequency spectrum. The Control 47 series features high-quality components, including a coaxial driver design, which offers superior coherence between the high and low frequencies. This results in a more accurate and natural sound, essential for both DJ monitoring and high-end listening spaces where clarity is crucial.
