What Inspired OBJ.03.01
The OBJ.03.01 was inspired by a collaboration with a creative studio and Sketch London, where we set out to merge sculptural forms of our previous designs to create something entirely bespoke. By bringing together the architectural presence of the OBJ.03 with the reflective geometry and sonic clarity of the OBJ.01, we envisioned a new object that evolves the lineage of both designs while exploring new acoustic and spatial opportunities. As with OBJ.03.BIRADIAL.HORN this concept reflects our ongoing interest in dialogue between past and present, where historical inspiration meets contemporary shapes. Creating OBJ.03.01
The creation of OBJ.03.01 required a careful synthesis of the two distinct speaker concepts, OBJ.01 and OBJ.03.BIRADIAL.HORN. We combined the mid- and high-frequency precision of the OBJ.01 with the bold low-end presence and classic form of the OBJ.03. This integration demanded revisiting Volt for custom crossovers and guidance on porting, enclosure tuning, and frequency optimization. The result is a unified system where each driver operates within its ideal range, delivering clarity, depth, and a cohesive sonic experience. Commissioning an OBJ.03.01
For those interested in commissioning an OBJ.03.01, we provide a fully collaborative process. This includes drawings, measurements, and personalized guidance on finishes, materials, and driver configurations to ensure the piece meets both spatial and acoustic requirements. As with all our designs, the use of reclaimed and limited-availability components means production is extremely limited, and some units are entirely one-of-a-kind, making each OBJ.03.01.
